Fire Contract Meeting Minutes 

City of Porter 

February 3, 2025 

 

 

Mayor Donald Verschelde called the 2025 fire contract meeting to order. 

 

Council members present were Kim Jelen, Donald Verschelde, Josh Sumption, Craig Petersen, and Pat Vlaminck.   

 

Those present representing townships were Lawrence Petersen, Krist Wollum & Faith Olson.   

 

Fire contract rates for 2025 were discussed.  Fire Department is looking at purchasing a tanker. 

 

A motion was made by Josh Sumption, seconded by Craig Petersen to adjourn the meeting.  All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried.
