COVID-19 Pandemic Response

A State of Emergency was declared by Mayor, Donald Verscheld, and ratified by the City Council on March 28, 2020 authorizing the city to employ measures to take measures to mitigate and protect the general public from the COVID-19 Pandemic. The City of Porter is following the guidelines established by the State of Minnesota.

Confirmed Positive COVID-19 cases per week for Porter, Minnesota. Please not that data from May 27, 2021 through August 25, 2021 is not represented as there were only 2 positive cases during that 13-week period, which are included in the August 26 data.

Active cases of COVID-19. This graph represents the total active cases in the county based on a case rate per 10,000 people. Though there are not 10,000 residents in Yellow Medicine County, (county population 9,795) the graph is scaled to make comparisons between counties and cities of all sizes possible and accurate.
