Special City Council Meeting Minutes 

City of Porter 

September 18, 2023 6:00 p.m. 

 

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Donald Verschelde. 

 

Council members present were Kim Jelen, Donald Verschelde, Josh Sumption, Pat Vlaminck, Craig Peterson, and Judy Verschelde.   

 

Also present was Jarvis Hoaas, Heather Hanson, Alyssa Redetzke, and Harvey Myhre. 

 

Discussed the fee for the annual liquor license and the Sunday liquor license. 

 

A motion was made by Josh Sumption & seconded by Craig Peterson to approve a liquor license for the new/potential owners of the Cut Loose Lounge for a “on sale” and Sunday Liquor License.  All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried. 

A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Craig Peterson, to adjourn the meeting.  All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried.
