fun were Ashley and Derek, who entered the kid's tractor pull, just
one of the kids events held.

Porter Royalty...
Frank Goslar and Ramona Syltie were crowned as
Porter's king and queen during the Harvest Festival. The crowning
took place at the park during the annual North-South softball
contest on Friday night. Activities lasted through Sunday.

A winning hand?...
There were no idle moments at the ball field.
Players waiting to play softball played cards and at the Porter
Hall, there was also plenty to look at with a full-scale rummage and
crafts sale.

A really bad weed...
It was no contest. Terri Knutson displays the
hands-down winner in the "uggliest weed" division of the Porter
Harvest Festival's commodity contest.
