Annual Community Events

October 2009

Monday 5th	City Council Meeting. 6:30 PM at Porter Fire Hall
Friday 9th	Lindbergh School, District 31, All Class Re-union at Rusty's Cafe in Taunton from 3:00 PM to Close. If you would like more information please contact Ramona DeVos Buysee at 507-537-2641. Dinner will be served about 5:00 P.M. Come for a good time and get re-acquainted with your grade school friends.

Community Information

Porter's Community Hall is available for rental. Contact Dan Verschelde, Hall Manger at 507-296-4615 in the evening.

Church Services are held Every Sunday at 10:00 A.M. At Bethel Lutheran Church of Porter, with fellowship Following the Service. Sunday School and Early Fellowship is held at 9:00 AM along with Choir Practice, Anyone and Everyone is welcome to attend.

Senior Dining is held every Monday through Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Community Room of Deb's Cafe in Porter, A variety of home-cooked menu specials are available throughout the week.

Porter Lending Library takes place every Wednesday afternoon at the Porter Senior Citizen's Center. There are many different titles to choose from in many different genres, so there should be something for everyone!
