Regular City Council Meeting Minutes

City of Porter

Monday, November 2, 2009, 6:30 p.m.

Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council meeting to order.

Council members present were Kim Jelen, Donald Verschelde, Judy Verschelde, Darlene Moeller, and Pat Vlaminck.

The application of the rural development grant was discussed.  The application process is going forward.  The City of Porter will have a hearing on the issue on December 15^th at 6:30 p.m.

The council discussed a request to allow the Cut Loose Lounge to sell pull tabs supplied by the Porter Relief Association.

Darlene Moeller made a motion to allow the Cut Loose Lounge, in cooperation with the Porter Relief Association, to sell pull tabs.  Kim Jelen seconded the motion.  All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried.

387,000 gallons of water were used in October.

Pat Vlaminck made a motion to pay the bills as read by Judy Verschelde.  Darlene Moeller seconded the motion.  All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried.

A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene Moeller, to adjourn the meeting.  All were in favor with none opposed, and the motion was carried.
