of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday October 6, 2008
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council
meeting to order.
Those present were Darlene Moeller, Pat Vlaminck, Don
Verschelde, Bonnie Olson, Kim Jelen and Judy Verschelde.
Also present was Tom Noyes, Adam Grengs and Mary Wente.
A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Kim Jelen
to approve the minutes of the September 2, 2008 City Council meeting. All in
favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene
Moeller to approve a building permit for Jim Stoks for a 28’ x 36’ garage, a
building permit for Adam Grengs for a 30’ x 50’ garage, and a 10’ x 13’
shed, and SMI & Hydraulics to move a 60’ x 120’ shed, and they will contact
the DNR. All in favor, no one opposed.
Mary Wente was present to inquire about Sunday liquor.
The water at the city park will be shut off.
The water usage was 509,000 gallons.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Pat
Vlaminck to pay the bills as read. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Kim Jelen
to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, no one opposed.
