of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday, February 4, 2008
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council
meeting to order.
Those present were Kim Jelen, Pat Vlaminck, Don
Verschelde, Bonnie Olson, Judy Verschelde and Darlene Moeller.
Also present were Larry Stoks and Mary Wente.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the
minutes of the January 7, 2008 City Council meeting. Minutes were approved
as read in a motion by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Darlene Moeller. All in
favor – no one opposed.
Mary Wente was present to let the council know that the
Cut Loose will be opening soon.
A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Darlene
Moeller to lower the liquor license to $1500.00 for the year 2008. All in
favor, no one opposed.
The rain gutter installation for the community hall was
discussed, and tabled until the next meeting.
Larry Stoks gave the water report. There were 924,000
gallons used.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Kim
Jelen to pay the bills as read. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Pat Vlaminck to adjourn the
meeting. All in favor, no one opposed
