of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday, December 3, 2007
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council
meeting to order.
Those present were Darlene Moeller, Pat Vlaminck, Bonnie
Olson, Kim Jelen, Don Verschelde and Judy Verschelde.
Also present was Larry Stoks.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the
November 5, 2007 City Council meeting. Minutes were approved in a motion
made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Kim Jelen. All in favor, no one opposed.
RESOLUTION 02-2007
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Porter,
Minnesota, County of Yellow Medicine, Minnesota that the following sums of
money be levied for the current year collectible in 2008 upon taxable
property in the City of Porter, Minnesota.
FINAL LEVY: $37,422.58
FINAL BUDGET: $102,084.58
A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene
Moeller approving the above resolution. All in favor, no one opposed.
Adopted by the City of Porter Council on December 3, 2007.
The water report was read. There were 817,000 gallons
water used. The lift station needs some minor repair. The ponds look good,
they were discharged. A bacteria water sample came back ok. Larry will work
on fencing at the ponds.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Kim
Jelen to approve the bills as read. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Kim Jelen
to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, no one opposed.
