of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday, July 2, 2007
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council
meeting to order.
Those present were Darlene Moeller, Kim Jelen, Bonnie
Olson, Don Verschelde, Pat Vlaminck and Judy Verschelde.
Also present were Norm VanOverbeke, Larry Stoks and
Doug Anderson.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the
June 4, 2007 City Council meeting. Minutes were approved in a motion made by
Kim Jelen, seconded by Pat Vlaminck. All in favor, no one opposed.
Norm VanOverbeke from DSI was present to update the
council on the grant.
Doug Anderson was present to talk about the property
south of the fire hall.
There will be a Harvest Festival, which will be August
17, 18 and 19.
Larry Stoks gave the water and sewer report. The water
sample that was sent in came back good. The ponds have been discharged.
There were 427,000 gallons used.
A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene
Moeller to pay the bills as read. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Kim
Jelen to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, no one opposed.
