of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday, June 4, 2007
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council
meeting to order.
Those present were Kim Jelen, Darlene Moeller, Bonnie
Olson, Pat Vlaminck, Don Verschelde.
Also present was: Norm VanOverbeke from DSI, Larry
Stoks and Nancy Borman.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the
May 7, 2007 City Council meeting. Minutes were approved in a motion made by
Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene Moeller. All in favor, no one opposed.
Norm VanOverbeke was present to give the council a
re-cap of the grant.
A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Kim
Jelen to add First Indpendent Bank in Marshall, MN as a depositor for fire
equipment CD’s. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene
Moeller to approve a dance permit for the VanHyfte wedding. All in favor, no
one opposed.
A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene
Moeller to accept the bid from Vicks Plumbing to replace the lift pump in
the fire hall. All in favor, no one opposed.
Nancy Borman was present to discuss the City of
Porter’s financial reports.
Larry Stoks gave the water and sewer report. The ponds
have been discharged. The samples from the ponds were good.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Kim
Jelen to approve the bills as read. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Pat Vlamnick, seconded by Kim
Jelen, to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, no one opposed.
