of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday, March 5,
2007
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde
called the regular city council meeting to order.
Those present were Judy Verschelde, Bonnie Olson, Don
Verschelde and Darlene Moeller. Also present were Terry Knutson, Larry Stoks
and Jacob Tetrick.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the
minutes of the February 5, 2007 City Council meeting. Minutes were approved
as read in a motion by Darlene Moeller,
seconded by Bonnie Olson. All in favor, no one opposed.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the
minutes of the Fire Contract meeting held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007.
Minutes were approved as read in a motion by Bonnie Olson, seconded by
Darlene Moeller. All in favor, no one opposed.
The Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting will be
held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the Porter Fire Hall.
Terri Knutson gave the council an update on the Porter
Harvest Festival. The committee has turned over the checkbook to the city.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by
Bonnie Olson to donate $25 to the Easter Egg Hunt. All in favor, no one
opposed.
Jacob Tetrick inquired about the city mowing.
Larry Stoks gave the water report. There were 358,000
gallons used.
A motion was made by Bonnie Olson, seconded by Darlene
Moeller to pay the bills as read. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by
Bonnie Olson to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, no one opposed.
