Minutes of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday, December 4, 2006
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council
meeting to order.
Those present were Kim Jelen, Don Verschelde, Bonnie
Olson, Judy Verschelde and Darlene Moeller. Also present was Larry Stoks.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the
minutes of the November 6, 2006 City Council meeting. Minutes were approved
as read in a motion by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene Moeller. All in favor,
no one opposed.
RESOLUTION 05-2006
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Porter,
Minnesota, County of Yellow Medicine, Minnesota that the following sums of
money be levied for the current year collectible in 2007 upon taxable
property in the City of Porter, Minnesota.
FINAL LEVY: $34,650.54
FINAL BUDGET: $101,504.00
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Kim
Jelen approving the above resolution. All in favor, no one opposed. Adopted
by the City of Porter Council on December 4, 2006.
The water report was read. There were 353,000 gallons
used. The ponds have been discharged. An influent sample has been done, all
samples for the year are complete. The roof on the pump house is being
worked on. One of the pumps at the lift station is back in operation.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Kim
Jelen to pay the bills as read. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene
Moeller to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, no one opposed.
