Minutes of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday, October 2, 2006
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council
meeting to order.
Those present were Darlene Moeller, Pat Vlaminck, Don
Verschelde, Kim Jelen, Judy Verschelde and Bonnie Olson. Also present was
Larry Stoks.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the
minutes of the September 5, 2006 City Council meeting. Minutes were approved
as read in a motion by Pat Vlaminck, seconded by Kim Jelen. All in favor, no
one opposed.
The water at the park will be shut off.
An influent sample has been done. The ponds will be
discharged this month. The pump house needs work on the roof. There were
337,000 gallons used.
A committee has been formed for the renovation of the
Porter Hall.
A motion was made by Pat Vlaminck seconded by Darlene
Moeller for approval of an addition for Bruce Byers onto his garage. The
planning and zoning committee approved this addition. All in favor, no one
opposed.
A motion was made by Kim Jelen, seconded by Darlene
Moeller to pay the bills as read. All in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Kim
Jelen to adjourn the meeting. All in favor, no one opposed.
