Minutes of the City of Porter
Regular Council Meeting
Monday, June 5, 2006
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called the regular city council meeting to order.
Those present were Judy Verschelde, Kim Jelen, Pat Vlaminck, Darlene
Moeller, and Donald Verschelde. Also present was Norm VanOverbeke-DSI, Dan
Dybsetter, Mike Antony, and Larry Stoks.
Mayor Donald Verschelde called for the reading of the minutes of theMay 1,
2006 City Council meeting. Minutes were approved in a motion by Pat Vlaminck,
seconded byDarlene Moeller. All in favor, no one opposed.
Norm VanOverbeke with DSI gave an update on the grant
Mike Antony will gravel and blade alleys.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Kim Jelen to donate an
additional $4000 for a total of $5000 to the Porter Fireman Relief
Retirement Fund with yearly review in December or January. All voted in
favor, no one opposed.
Larry Stoks gave the water and sewer report. There were 465,000 gallons
used. Some discharging has been done at the ponds.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, seconded by Pat Vlaminck to pay the
bills as read. All voted in favor, no one opposed.
A motion was made by Darlene Moeller, secondec by Pat Vlaminck to adjourn
the meeting. All in favor, no one opposed.
